Mission:
The Cary Library is a cultural and intellectual center for the community. It provides, at a reasonable cost and in a friendly atmosphere, universal access to knowledge and life-long learning through print, electronic resources, cultural activities, programs and services. The library collaborates with other community groups to meet the educational, informational and recreational needs of the entire community.
Collections:
The museum's regular collections include 55,000 volumes, 800 of which are large-print, 1,400 audio titles, roughly 1,700 video titles, and almost 90 periodicals. In addition to these regular collections the library also holds a serious of special collections, which includes a Genealogy Room equipped with many resources for the topic. There is also the Maine Collection, which deals with with nonfiction accounts and records of Maine history and culture. This last Collection also includes a special series of materials gifted by Maine Rivers.

Monday- Wednesday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Thursday: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Sunday: closed
